Dr Gerard Kho
Senior Advisor
Dr Gerard Kho acted as the leadership architect and advisor, building purpose-driven systems for organisations across Southeast Asia and Australasia. He has guided listed companies, scale-ups, and social ventures, including Elders Limited, PropertyGuru, Sunway Group, and Khazanah-linked institutions. At The Mandate Company, he equipped founders and seasoned advisors to co-create resilient, values-based enterprises that scale with clarity.

Drawing on two decades of experience in strategy, governance, and second-act leadership design, Dr Kho installed leaders' identity into execution — bridging experience and ambition through frameworks that multiply wisdom, culture, and generational impact.
James Sundram
Senior Advisor
James is a seasoned media and technology leader with over 30 years of experience scaling businesses across Asia, Europe, and the US. He has held senior roles at Forbes APAC, Dow Jones, SPH Magazines, and PropertyGuru International, leading regional growth and major digital transformation efforts.
His expertise spans commercial strategy, global operations, and board leadership across high-growth and established organisations. He currently serves on several boards, including AQUILA and Have Halal, Will Travel, enforcing ventures with regional impact.
James brings a blend of corporate depth, entrepreneurial insight, and a commitment to developing the next generation of leaders.
Dr Becky Low
Senior Advisor
Dr Becky Low is a board-level transformation specialist with more than two decades of experience driving people, culture, and governance excellence across global enterprises such as TikTok, Facebook, Bloomberg, and Huawei. Renowned for leading large-scale HR digital transformation in over 100 countries and regional M&A integrations, she brings practical board insight and execution strength to complex change agendas.
As Secretary-General of the Malaysia Independent Directors Association, she champions corporate governance, leadership renewal and sustainable business transformation across Asia’s evolving corporate landscape.
James Ta
Senior Advisor
James Ta is a seasoned technology executive with over 35 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, specialising in banking and finance. Led the development and implementation of large-scale, multi-million-dollar systems both in retail and corporate banking domains. His leadership extends to driving major initiatives in Business Intelligence and AI adoption.

Formerly with Hitachi, he brought deep technical insight and executive-level oversight, managing global delivery teams and full P&L responsibility. Served as a strategic advisor to growth-stage businesses across ASEAN, helping founders navigate complexity with clarity, structure, and execution.
Lau Chin Chiean
Advisor
Lau Chin Chiean is a seasoned operations and finance leader with nearly three decades of experience across education, hospitality, fitness, and professional services. Known for building operational frameworks from the ground up, she has held senior leadership roles at XCL Education, AQUILA Education, and, earlier in her career, Deloitte.

She brought a sharp execution mindset and project leadership rigour—having launched schools, led multi-million dollar infrastructure projects, and driven finance digitisation across organisations. Her expertise spanned strategic planning, compliance, procurement, HR, and financial governance, making her a versatile force in driving business transformation.
Michael Cho
Senior Advisor
Michael is a seasoned commercial leader with over three decades of experience across Asia Pacific, working with multinationals, SMEs, and emerging growth companies. He has led businesses at every stage—from start-up to market leader—giving him a practical understanding of how strategy, execution, and market forces shift across environments.
His experience spans sales, business development, marketing, customer support, and product leadership, alongside long-time P&L ownership and multi-country business launches. Today, he advises companies across various sectors, helping leadership teams strengthen commercial strategy and build the operational foundations needed to scale.
Edmond Lim
Advisor
Edmond is a seasoned headhunter and transformation advisor with over three decades of experience across multinationals, PLCs, and entrepreneurial ventures. After an early career in IT with IBM, Compaq, and Oracle, he went on to lead in senior roles and later founded AceGem, an HR and IT consultancy focused on organisational and cultural transformation, including assisting enterprises in their public listing exercises.

A stroke survivor at 33, Edmond brings resilience, empathy, and practical insight into navigating organisational challenges. He also serves on the board of NASAM and contributes actively to ESG-related social impact work.
